Seamless Assist is building an AI-native workforce.

We help businesses scale through high-performing virtual assistants — and we believe the future of work belongs to operators who can use AI and automation to solve problems, streamline systems, and create leverage.

We are evolving from a traditional VA agency into an AI-powered workforce company. To lead this transformation, we are hiring an AI Capability & Certification Lead.

This is not a traditional training role.

This is a zero-to-one systems-building role focused on defining AI standards, embedding automation into workflows, and creating a certification framework that strengthens our competitive moat.

The 6-Month Mission

Design and launch an internal AI certification program that:

  • Defines clear AI competency levels (Beginner Intermediate Advanced)
  • Establishes measurable, output-driven standards
  • Integrates AI and automation into real client workflows
  • Influences hiring criteria and workforce expectations
  • Creates a clear roadmap for monetization and premium positioning

Success in 6 months means:

  • A structured certification framework is built
  • At least one internal pilot cohort is completed
  • AI standards are integrated into onboarding and evaluation
  • A monetization pathway is clearly defined

What You Will Own

1. AI Capability & Automation System Design

  • Define what practical AI proficiency looks like in real business tasks.
  • Design AI-first workflows that integrate automation tools (Zapier, Make, CRM automations, task automation platforms, etc.).
  • Identify repetitive processes that can be streamlined using AI and automation.
  • Build structured frameworks that combine AI usage with workflow efficiency.
  • Create evaluation systems that measure productivity improvements and quality gains.

2. Certification & Workforce Development

  • Develop competency levels tied to real client scenarios.
  • Design applied assessments (not theory quizzes).
  • Create structured learning pathways that build independent problem-solvers.
  • Embed certification standards into onboarding and performance reviews.
  • Align hiring criteria with AI capability expectations.

3. Operational Integration

  • Work with operations and account management teams to integrate AI workflows.
  • Improve output quality, speed, and consistency through automation.
  • Build simple dashboards to track adoption and measurable impact.
  • Identify friction points and continuously iterate the system.

4. Strategic & Commercial Impact

  • Design the certification program with commercial potential in mind.
  • Identify how AI-certified VAs can create pricing leverage.
  • Contribute to AI-enhanced service tiers.
  • Outline monetization opportunities for certification and AI capability.
  • Help position Seamless Assist as an AI-forward workforce partner.

What This Role Is Not

This is not:

  • A corporate training facilitator role.
  • A slide-deck presentation position.
  • A compliance or checklist-driven education job.
  • A pure software development role.

We are not looking for a coder building backend systems.

We are looking for someone who can maximize leverage from existing AI and automation tools and design structured capability around them.

Required Experience

  • 2+ years in operations, product, program design, automation, or workforce development.
  • Hands-on experience applying AI tools in real business environments.
  • Experience designing structured processes, frameworks, or internal systems.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (Zapier, Make, CRM automations, Notion workflows, etc.).
  • Strong written communication and structured thinking.

Preferred Experience

  • Startup or zero-to-one program-building experience.
  • Experience designing certification or competency systems.
  • Experience working with remote or distributed teams.
  • Experience in India, Latin America, or Eastern Europe serving global clients.
